Woo K. ‘David’ Cheon

David was born in South Korea and immigrated to Alexandria, Virginia in 1992. While learning English, he worked part time as a construction laborer. In 1996 David founded Northeast Siding Inc., which provided turn-key siding solutions to the residential construction market. During the first three years in business, Northeast Siding’s revenue grew from $300,000 to over $7,000,000. The rapid growth was fueled by David’s determined leadership to his company and his dedication to his clients. By 2002 Northeast Siding rebranded into Northeast Construction as David’s services grew to include Commercial Roofing and General Construction. David’s retained long time residential building clients, but he grew the business to include multiple government agencies and institutions as customers. Revenues at this point had grown to about 30 million dollars annually.

By 2009 Northeast Construction was certified by the SBA 8A program, which opened additional opportunities to work with the Federal Government. Today David leads a diverse company that provides services such as solar farm installation for the Federal Government, building envelope restorations for institutions, ground up construction management for private developers, and roofing asset management work across all industry sectors.

David, his wife, and their two children reside in Richmond, VA.
